50 hours of driving
36 hours of sleep
168 hours of tour
On March 3rd I set off with Pharaohs on their European tour. Starting off in Rennes, France we made our way through to Lille. The band are due to release their second album around 10th May and were getting a positive response from the first few shows. We then crossed the border into Germany visiting Trier, Hamburg and Berlin. Although there wasn't much time for site seeing we managed to get a day off to see much of Berlin and even enjoy some schnitzel. After the second Berlin show we had to leave at 2 am for the 12 hour drive to Luxembourg for the 'Out of the Crowd' festival. Playing fourth in the line up Pharaohs played a set creating a huge sound equalled by their energy on the stage. We then had the rest of the festival to enjoy watching bands such as: Baths, Three Trapped Tigers, And So I Watch You From Afar ad finally headlining the show promoting their second album with their new band line up was Battles. Many thanks to Pharaohs for the invite, looking forward to the next one.
